Irish Souvenir Tour Itinerary

Day One

  • Arrival at Dublin Airport and collection of your pre-booked car.


  • Overnight at the Harcourt Hotel, former birthplace of Bernard Shaw.


Day Two

  • Stop at Locke’s Distillery Museum for a guided tour followed by whiskey tasting.


  • Continuation to Galway.


  • Overnight in a traditional inns of Galway surrounding area.


Day Three

  • After a full Irish breakfast, explore Connemara region, famous for the warm Aran wollen manufacts.


  • You can have a full day excursion in the region and have some time in Spiddal to visit “Standun”, the best shop to find all Irish handcrafts.


  • As alternative you can catch a ferry in Rossaveal to the Aran Islands. You can take the ferry, minibus tour of Inishmore and Dun Aengus, ferry to Inisheer and/or a walking tour.


  • Back to your inn for overnight.


Day Four

  • After breakfast, departure to Sligo.


  • Visit the Dolmen Site of Carrowmore. Other highlights of the area are Rosses Point, Mullaghmore Head, Bundoran beaches and Ballyshannon.


  • In Belleek you can visit the Belleek China Pottery Factory.


  • Overnight in a traditional Inn of the area.


Day Five

  • Full Irish breakfast. A scenic drive will lead you across the rough landscapes of Donegal.


  • Killybegs, Malin More and Glencolumbkille, Bloody Foreland, Gleanveagh National Park and the scenic route between Glenties and Ardara are the main attractions of the area.


  • Once in Ardara you can stop in Triona Design before going back to your inn for overnight.


Day Six

  • After breakfast departure across county Fermanagh along the Lough Erne.


  • Stop in the lovely town of Enniskillen before continuing to county Down.


  • Near Belfast, precisely in Lisburn, there is a long established tradition for linen production.


  • Ovenight in an inn of the area.


Day Seven

  • Full Irish breakfast. This region of Northern Ireland offers many sightseeings possibilities: first of all Belfast City.


  • See Donegal Square, the areas historically connected to the Troubles and the murals, the River Langan and the Titanic District.


  • Around Belfast, county Down offers spectacular natural trails like the Mourne Mountains and Castlewellan or the Religious Trail on St. Patrick’s steps, all around Downpatrick.


Day Eight

  • Departure to Dublin to return the car and to catch your flight home.
