Irish Countryside Tour Itinerary
Day One
After arrival at Dublin Airport and collection of pre-booked car.
Departure to Howth. It’s just 7.5 miles away.
Afternoon visit to Dublin City or Explore Howth village.
Overnight at Deer Park Hotel.
Day Two
Full Irish breakfast. A short drive will lead you to Newgrange - Knowth - Hill of Tara archaeological area.
We would suggest to visit at least Newgrange before continuing down N3 to Lough Erne.
Arrival in the historical town of Enniskillen.
Overnight at Killyhevlin Hotel.
Day Three
Full Irish breakfast. Departure to Sligo and then toward Westport.
In the spectacular natural surrounding between the Ocean and Connemara mountains.
A lively fireplace and intimate atmosphere welcome your clients at Ardagh Hotel, a peaceful oasis in the heart of Connemara.
We warmly suggest to have dinner at the hotel Restaurant for a great “gourmet experience”.
Day Four
Today’s highlights are Galway, Burren landscapes and Cliffs of Moher.
A few miles away from the magnificent cliffs there’s the nice town of Lisdoonvarna.
Have a break at Sheedy’s for a seafood lunch before heading to Adare in Limerick.
Overnight at Fitzgerald’s Woodlands House.
Day Five
An early departure is suggested to have enough time to doscover the amazing Dingle Peninsula.
A scenic drive will lead down Dingle’s beaches, ancient buildings like “beehive houses” an the Gallarus Oratory.
Weather conditions permitting and if daylight is still good Conor Pass Road can be chosen to reach Crutch’s Hillville House.
Day Six
After breakfast departure to Tralee, Killarney and its lakes.
A pleasant and scenic drive will lead you to Kenmare before getting the narrow roads of Gougane Barra National Forest.
Overnight at Gougane Barra.
Day Seven
Full Irish Breakfast. We would recommend to stay in the West county Cork area, including Skibberean, Clonakilty and Kinsale, gourmet capital of Ireland.
Overnight will be at the Casey’s in Baltimore a lovely hotel on the sea side.
It is renowned for its excellent seasfood cuisine and the popular bar.
Day Eight
After a delicious breakfast departure to Cork City.
You can stop in Blarney to kiss the famous Stone of Eloquence at Blarney Castle and then continue to Cahir and Cashel.
We suggest to visit the Rock of Cashel before heading to Clonmel.
Overnight at Minella Hotel.
Day Nine
Full Irish breakfast. Departure to Kilkenny, best sample of medieval architecture in Ireland.
It deserves a walking across the streets of the centre and the ground of the castle open also fort guided tours.
Continuation to Dublin and Howth, our final destination for today. Once arrived close to Dublin Ring M50, don’t go ahead in town but follow directions to M1 and Airport to arrive in Howth.
Overnight at Deer Park Hotel.
Day Ten
You have a full day to spend in Dublin City.
You can move by car or go to Howth DART station and arrive by train at Connolly or Tara Station.
You will enjoy Dublin city centre walking throughout.
