Spine Chilling Tour of Ireland Itinerary
Day One
Arrival at Dublin Airport. Meeting with your experienced driver/guide and transfer to your hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Transfer for an early dinner in a traditional pub and after dinner we will join a special walking tour in the auster alleyways of Dublin, discovering the murders and the ghosts of Dublin medieval City.
The tour will end in a pub in city centre, individual trip back to the hotel.
Day Two
After a delicious full Irish breakfast we will have a classic Dublin city tour escorted by a local guide.
We will visit the Apartments of Dublin Castle.. Have have you ever heard about “Polter- geist”? Here we will have an interesting one!
Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in hotel.
Optional traditional dinner or Irish Cabaret available.
Day Three
Full Irish breakfast. An amazing journey will bring us up on the mountain of Glendalough.
Surronded by the celtic crosses of the ancient cemetery you can still see the “St. Kevin’s Kitchen”, the ruins of the Cathedral and the famous Round Tower.
There will be time at disposal for a pleasant walk to the lakes depending on the weather conditions.
We will visit the mystic site of St. Kevin’s, the ancient monastery placed in the heart of the “Glen of the 2 lakes”.Departure to Kilkenny. Tonight we will enjoy the warmth of an Irish Farmhouse and we can taste the best of a real homamede cooking! Dinner free and overnight in a Farmhouse in Kilkenny surroundings.
Day Four
Full Irish breakfast.
Departure to Cork and, after a panoramic city tour, we continue to Kinsale, Irish “Gourmet Capital”. Lunch in a local restaurant.
First in the afternoon we’ll visit Charles Fort, a former British military station that, according to the legeds, is haunted by the White Lady. Departure to Killarney.
Overnight in the spectacular setting of a manor house hotel in Kerry area.
Day Five
Full Irish breakfast. This morning we’ll reach Ross Castle where you are taken by the traditional open boats through the Three Lakes of Killarney, home of the ghost of the O’Donaghue of the Glens.
The cruise will end at Lord Brandon’s Cottage where a light snack will be served. Here you change to a pony and trap ride through the Gap of Dunloe where you can view a spectacular glaciated valley.
Back to Killarney surroundings there will be time to taste a real Irish Coffee at the renowned Kate Kearney’s Cottage.
Transfer back to your hotel. Dinner free and overnight.
Day Six
Full Irish breakfast. Departure to Tarbert to cross Shannon Mouth by ferry.
Continuation toward the magnificent Cliffs of Moher and time at disposal to enjoy the great views.
Visit of a salmon smokehouse.
Drive to Limerick surroundings for overnight. Optional medieval banquet at Bunratty or Knappogue Castle.
Day Seven
After breakfast we leave the West Coast driving toward County Kildare, the land of The Curragh, the horses and The Wizard Earl...
We might discover more about him in the St. Brigid’s cathedral, that we wil visit on the way, or in Kilkea Castle, where we will stop for an afternoon high tea before approaching Dublin.
Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day Eight
Full Irish breakfast. Transfer to Dublin Airport according to your flight scheduled.
