West and Southwest in Eight Days Itinerary

Day One

  • Arrive into Shannon. Pickup Car.


  • Drive to Lahinch. Check into B&B. Rest.


  • Visit Cliffs of Moher and Burren in County Clare.


  • Enjoy a walk in this small seaside town. Many restaurants and Golf Courses too.


  • Night out in Lahinch. Famous for its old traditional pubs. Great Music and Dancing!!


Day Two

  • Breakfast. Drive The Gap of Dunloe Tour.


  • Visit Kate Kearney’s Cottage. Upon arrival you can decide either to walk the 7 mile journey (taking approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes) or to be taken by jaunting car (pony and trap!) through blissful scenery created at the end of the last Ice Age in Ireland.


  • After a short break at Lord Brandon’s Cottage where snacks and Irish coffees are served, a traditional style boar will whisk you back to Ross Castle through the three Lakes of Killarney (bring your rain jackets, this isn’t Hawaii!).


  • Stay in Dingle Town(1 Night).


Day Three

  • Breakfast. Drive the Ring of Kerry Tour.


  • Explore the rich heritage sites of Skellig Michael, Beehive Cells, Stone Circles etc.


  • Drop into the market town of Kenmare. Visit Muckross House and Gardens located just outside Killarney.


  • Evening Dinner at Bricin's restaurant. Great Irish food.


  • Staying In Killarney Town.


Day Four

  • Breakfast. Drive to Cork City.


  • Explore the historic city - Charles Fort, English City Market, Cork City Gaoletc.


  • Enjoy a pint of Murphy's stout for lunch.


  • Check into Hotel (1 Night). Enjoy a night out with your fellow Corkonaians.


Day Six

  • Breakfast. Depart for Galway City.


  • Enroute,stop at Bunratty Village. Visit Bunratty Castle and Folk. Lunch at the famous Durty Nelly's Pub.


  • Arrive in Galway.Check into B&B. Optional walking tour of city.


  • Night out in Quay Street. Galway is famous for its old traditional pubs. Great Music too!!


Day Seven

Day Eight

  • Breakfast. Pack Bags.


  • Drive to Shannon(1.5 hrs). Drop car off.


  • Check In. Arrive Home. Big Smiles. Tall Stories. Great Memories.
